Attention New And Old Members.

Hello all obvious new members of the forum. I have noticed a larger increase in members over the past few weeks. I'd also like to point out that there were 400+ users logged on a couple of nights ago over a period of approximently 45 minutes. This is a breakthrough for all forums alike.

So, on behalf of the Global Moderators, Admins, and older forum members, I'd like for EVERYONE to re-read the rules of the forums in this link:

I am cracking down HEAVILY on the rule above and will continue so until posts consisting of, "Yep" "I totally agree" "I think so too". These do not provide additional opinion to a thread, and is virtually worthless.

I also ask for you, new and old members, to read the special rules applied to any particular forum I.E. - Off Topic. Polls.

On a final note, please do not post any link to any scrub site that describes how to perform glitches on SOCOM II or any other game. Do not post yourself how to perform a glitch. Do not advertize for other sites through new threads or Spam PMing random members.

It is essential that everyone follows the rules....it makes the mods job a LOT easier....ALSO, if you guys see a new member do something wrong, please don't jump down his throat, explain what he did wrong and provide him with a link (whether it be to the Search, or to another topic) please, stop saying:

"OMG THERE ARE SO MANY TOPICS ON THIS USE SEARCH N00B!"

Sounds good to me. Most of you may not know yet, today I became the new Tips & Tactics forum mod. :) I'm proud of this because I think the Tips & Tactics forum is one of the best forums on the board with a lot of quality content. I'm glad we're cutting down a little on extra spam... Everyone feel free to PM me if you need anything.

Im completely supportive of this rule, as some people do spam alot like that(I know I have, as well as lots of the people here have), and I hope it will be followed carefully.

This is a fairly old rule, so I'd like to add one small comment. This rule applies within a reasonable amount - if there is no way to respond to a post with a sentence longer than 8 words without making it redundant or laboriously convoluted, don't worry. If the post is quality, it will be left alone. This rule is just a basis for deciding on a post's value; we still judge what gets deleted on a post-by-post basis.

This is a good idea, Cheesy. Although, the 400+ members online is way off- because of the 45 minute span, which you all realized already, and because when someone comes to the page, it will think that they're a guest until they sign on, which means that there will be one guest and one member per person. Naturally, we'll have to cover this up and just brag about how popular we are :P.

See RadioMan it is 400+ people. I agree on this subject. I HATE those posts I want to jump threw that persons screen and crucify them so they can never say "I don't know." I have noticed the moding has cracked down, an congrats AL GIORDINO on the moderator position in Tips & Tactics.
