m14- newb gun..whats next?

Before the last patch that reset all of our stats. This gun wasnt a noob gun, I had around 350 hours as well. I come back a month or so from taking a break from the game. Walla...we have a new noob gun. It went from the m60 to iw-80 to m14 now..whats next to be a newb gun...m4a1? m16? Man people are gay. M14 and iw-80s arnt allowed in gamebattles. I havnt used m14 in a while..and Im loving the m16. But still, the guns are in the game and people will use them..people with lag dont change their lag.

Actually, it's funny you mention that about the M4A1. That has been a "newb gun" for quite some time now. Check out this link and you'll see what I mean....

All of those are related to n00bs, n00bs cannons, most n00bish guns. When will the "n00b" guns ever go away and people will just play the game for fun and not say "n00bs, using n00bs cannons. " In another month or two every single gun will be considered a n00b gun. Its getting out of hand.

You've GOT to be kidding me... people still complain about the M14 being a (quote) noob cannon??? Wow... I am sure glad that I don't really play this game much anymore.

Bring me SOCOM 3, or bring me death.

There is no such thing as a noob gun, and I make that clear whenever someone says something about it during a game. Each gun has advantages and disadvantages, and anyone as the ability to use any gun. If you are complaining about how easy it is to use an IW, don't, because next game you play SEALs, you can use it.

veggieman, stop copying what i was going to say. The guns are there to be used, if a gun is better or your opponent cant fight against it, use the goddam thing!

My thoughts exatly. Why can't people just play the game an not worry about what gun other people are useing. So some have there advantages who cares its a game. OnimushaWarlord you said you can't wait for Socom 3 I can't either but you know what that term "n00b cannon" will label half of the guns on that game in a week.

I don't think the M14 is a noob cannon. You have to have some skill to use this gun because it does have alot of recoil. I love the M14 with a passion and I don't think it should become a noob cannon at all.

Exactly, anyone person 1st starting the game would think this gun would be really hard to shoot. I know i didnt use this gun right away.
