Simply, the anwser would have to be no. You cannot just put your Socom 2 disc into your PC and play it, or play it online with other people on the PS2.

Even IF they had released a socom 2 for PC they would have seperate servers for PC and the PS2. Just like what they did for Star wars battlefront.

I'd stick with your PS2 for now ;)

It is possible to play single player(maybe multi i guess, dunno how you'd get past DNAS), but you'd need an emulator. Don't ask me for one, I don't have one(for ps2). Remember that playing an emulated game is illegal if you don't own a copy. So DON'T do it(if oyu don't own the copy).

Yeah, I've seen a few PC's that allow you to connect the PS2 there, but I never seen how that works.

Not necessarily...
FFXI had PS2 and Computer players on the same servers... and if I'm not mistaken some Dreamcast games had cross-platform online games.

Actually technically it's still illegal, emulator sites just say it isn't because they want you to download all their spyware and all that good stuff along with their emulators....

If you dont belive me go to techtv.com or something and do a search.
