Using the Socom II headset

Ok. Question here. My brother and I both got a headset thinking that we could talk to each other while we are killing each other. He lives in another state and we are getting sick of having to use the phone. Is it possible to talk to your enemies?

You can talk while in the lobby, but not while playing the game. It is pretty stupid, I know; that's just the way the game is.

I would suggest using something like Skype on the computer with your Socom headset. It works fairly good and it's free...

that would be a nice option possibly for socom III, the ability to talk to your everyone in the room, for created games.

If we could talk to enemies can you imagine the kind of cheaters we would see...
And people yelling "Your fecking lagging, thats BS!" to each others...
I find that talking to ennemies only in the briefing room is perfect!

the one reason y u dont talk to the enemies is because...you don't want to accidentally foil a plan or something.

I like it like that. It makes it more realistic. If you were on a battle field talking to your team, you wouldn't be able to talk to your enemies. And when you die, you can't talk to the players still alive untill they die or the next round. I think it's cool.

They'ed have to make it a different channel. On SOCOM II you have TEAM, which is everyone on your team, a seperate cahnnel for offense which is anyone else on the same channel, and they have defense, which works the same way. Hopefully they have Everyone, Team, Defense, and Offense. SOCOM III would rock if they did that.

They have stuff like that in HALO2...... Its if your close to your eneies you can hear them talking so you can taunt them yourself instead of using messages.
