New Idea For Rank on Forums.....

I voted yes.

Not just because I have tons of post but because it would lighten the place up a bit and it would be cool. Im pretty sure that its not too hard since Angus has had uber 1337 spammer and now Godlike as his rank. Also I've seen snowman have Godlike (i think) before.

But it shouldnt be about post as much as good frum member. If it was by post, 1000 would be a good number or even more, but I think Dakillla should just decide to change who he wants.

Also another cool name idea would be for Socom-2.com clan members could have a name. This could be S-2 clan member or something simple like that.

I don't want to change everyone's rank that wants a change, but I wouldn't mind taking care of a few...

I do like the idea of adding S-2 Clan Member tags under our names. We get a lot of publicity when playing and I believe we have a awsome clan and should recongnize the members on the forums. Plus it would give people something to work foward to. We do not accept everyone into the clan.

ok after reading through all the pages imma clarify my idea and give you an idea of how it will work.

1000 posts is fair in the since that dakilla wont have to change alot of names cause thats alot of posts to get too. i cant see it increasing spam anymore than what the rank system we use now does.see just like the few ppl weve had that had over 60 posts the first day they joined it gets old, trust me.yeah they might try spamming alot at first but thats why the 1000 posts deter them.hell it will take me awhile still since i dont post in every new topic (i pick my fights and statements :P )

we would still be using the regular rank system and if admin wanted a nickname at thie 1000 post mark put it under admin or let them choose.

the whole point is to reward the devoted followers and contributers of this site yet letting it be an achievable goal for everyone eventually for posting thier feelings,views etc on the site.if anything maybe it will help get things a lil more active from time to time.ofcourse the name would have to be approved by dk for use and like i said its not like 100 ppl will be able to change thier rank.

plus it wont be any extra work for anyone than the work thats already here, hell weve always had spammers not like its new.if anything just means us regualr posters do a lil policing ourselves.i myself have sent killa pms regarding member posts (new ones) that are spam,etc to help pinpoint them so problems get solved quicker. this is OUR community to do as we please, WE either make it great or let it fail.(i myself want to help make it great) theres only so much admin can do, without the dedicated followers of the site it wouldnt function.so take pride but have fun too, this is suppose to be a fun place, so lets keep it that way.

No it wouldnt...the older people, not saying i am cuz ive been here 2 months, arent jacka55es. Youve been here a month, you dont know these people, they wont abuse it. 1000 posts. 1000. That takes a while... And the people that reach that, ie Angus, Mods, Graphics, and whoever else is almost there, wont be a immature prick, like what youre suggesting they will be like, and 'fagup' the site. Im sorry for constantly changing opinions, but not only am i easily persuaded, but the more i look at this, the more other people, who haev been here, agree and make this idea make more and more sence and theyre really is not a down point to this.
