They are all equal, one shot to the head, and you're down.

You're going to get mixed opinions about this issue, hell, even flame wars will break out. It's all up to where you hit them, and how many times. I'm sure it's safe to say if I shot you in the foot with an M-14, you'd loose more health than a foot shot with an F90. It al depends, but some weapons are obviously dtronger than others.

So, as you can clearly see from DaKilla’s post the M14 is the most powerful assault rifle. It is the only 2 chest shot kill AR.
The first try with the IW was my lack of skill at aiming too.

Well, that list is purely power. It has nothing to do with accuracy, which is also very important..

Well the most powerful assault rifle is the M14. M60 is equally as powerful but is a machine gun.

I think the M4A1 is probably the best, Overall. I like it lot, Plus if you shoot it on auto but bursting like 5-6 shots you'll own.. Having it on auto and bursting is good too because if you get in a fire fight you lblast'em without switchign fire reates, Yay!
