Yo I'm new to the SOCOM online world and was curoius if anyone can shed some light on how the ranking system works. How do you up your rank----cuz I have definately figured out how to drop rank ><
yea man don't worry about the rank system. Socom has a very screwed up one. Im a captain rank 2500 though well it doesnt matter but just play good. Ohh yea the reason ranking sucks is because rank up rooms which help your rank alot but dont go into those rooms they just make you suck alot and never get good.

What MOST affects it is Rounds won/lost, then Kills/deaths...hit % affects it a little, dont expect yo make to past 5,000; about 10,000 people rank up, and all admirals are r^s now, I know it's pretty gay so just dont worry about rank, I quit worring about my rank a month ago, and now I have more fun with socom.
