You can not say that they owe you a war since you helped them. Also, it wasn't just America helping. It is called a World War becuase the whole world helped. Don't think that the French didn't fight. And they wouldn't be speaking German or Japanese. The Japanese attacked the U.S., (although they did thattack other countries, you implied that it was e European countries that would do the speaking) not Europe, and the Germans wouldn't have forced a language change. They could still speak their native tongue.

I like you, Good posts from what i've read :) that aside, You have a GREAT point. I put iit in bold, It's a good point and I agree. Debates are so fun when it's with people who have their facts straight and can give you a good debate, It's fun. This is a nice oen except for a few posts and such. To what I put in bold, You can serioulsy shut some flammers up if you show intelliegence and logic behind it.. Good points!

Please, ill agree that alot of skinny white kids have "socom courage", but the same can be said for hispanics and blacks. Ive had 16 year old kids and younger say they would knife me, kick my a55, shoot me, etc in real life because they say thats what happens in the "hood" if you would please bear with me. I dont know about you, but there are not many gang fights in the country club parking lots which is prob where most of the kids live.

Do you honestly beleive the French dislike you for being "a proud American"? It's the attitude you project with your "we're the best, we're the best" rants that make people dislike you, Americans and French alike. Don't think for even a minute that every single French citizen dislikes Americans; the majority of them don't care, and if they do care, they only dislike the ignorant Americans. But I'm sure most people can agree, including Americans, that they hate other ignorant Americans. And this goes for people of all nationalities. I hate ignorant Germans as much as ignorant Americans, not for thier nationality, race, or color, but for thier sheer ignorance and stupidity.

I only wish that more people, Americans especially, would understand this basic idea. And what do you expect from these other countries, while we're at it... You force the world to look inwards on yourself with your world policing military, but then can't stand to see political criticism? Once again it seems as if you arguments are contradictory.

First of all, i have to agree we need to stop policing the world, but -Always a but- we cannot take the mentallity of a Liberal (Bill Clinton and others) and allow our people to live in fear and wait for the next big attack on US soil. Bush First Administration: One major attack on US soil, Clinton administration at more than four...and I for one can easily blame him for 9\11 due to his lack of interest in the rest of the world.

Next, screw the french, no one listen to the post above mine it is ok to have a mentallity that we are the best, if we didn't we would be like Canada...our little gay brother. Also, we dont try to put our belifes on anyone...I have this arguement...what the heck is going through your head...most americans are forced to adapt to the other people coming in to this country...we offend them with our Christian belifes...so we change OUR laws to better accomodate them.

Ill stop here only because i know half the people on here wont read this much, but i hope that everyone does. America is a great place, let people hate us. Sorry this has nothing to do with socom.

Americians are some of the most easy going people around. We take a lot, before we get pizzed. I wish more countrys would see that. We would just as soon, let the world do what it wants. But we also learned we can't just stand by, and let things/people get out of hand. Not only for us, but the world. We try and get help, for world problems. And we do get it. But there are other countrys, that only see it there way, also. Don't forget, we get thousands of people, try to get into this country, each year. It's because of our freedom, and way of life, that they do. And that freedom, I think, makes other countrys jealous. Say what you want, but you don't see that many people trying to get into, Germany, France, Iraq, China, etc. I'm not saying America has all the answers. We don't. But we try, and that's more than a lot of countrys. And yes, we get our ignorant people. It's unfortunate, but we have them too, as all countrys do. We need to see the best, of each other. Not the worst.

I'd hate to break it to you, but Germany has an extremely high immigration rate... I think the last numbers I saw indicated that almost half of the people in Germany aren't even German... How's that for people trying to get in?

Please, before you ramble on about what other countries are/aren't, look up some non-Americanized facts about the world. There's more to it than the media shows. And that's where that "we're the best" attitude comes from.

Essentially, I would call this aggravated assault. Personally, I haven't heard anyone say this, yet. I totally agree, anyone that would say this has no idea what they're talking about. I have held 2 state handgun carry permits. One thing you learn when you get certified in such a course is the moral responsibility that comes with choosing to carry a firearm for self defense. One of the more memorable quotes I heard in one of the courses was "if you pull a gun, it better come out smoking". Bluffing or presenting a gun as a "scare tactic" is brandishing a firearm in some states, and aggravated assault in others. Fact is, you plug somebody you're likely going to jail or at least be arrested until the details are worked out. Then you have the rest of your life to cope with killing someone.
Anyone who could sit in front of a video game and state they intend to "cap" somebody they can't even see is obviously seriously mentally impaired. My advice to anyone who receives such a threat is to immediately write down all of the details, call the police, and let them handle the issue. Sure, more than likely nothing will ever come out of it, but just imagine the look on some 15 yr old punk's face when 2 officers are knocking on the door with an arrest warrant.
