I haven't found any definate answers when I did a search for these questions, so I'll just post them here.


Will there be a chat anytime soon? What kind of chat will it be (Java, IRC...etc)

What happened to the actual website? Is it just being redone and furnished?

Where do we send walkthroughs, tips, and tactics for a guide that could be put on the website?

I hope so. We had one but it was taken down for undisclosed reasons.

Thanks. I had tired to get into the chat but it wouldn't let me...then it was gone :(

We had problems and had to take the chat down for some time, I aplogize.

The actual website was taken down, as the part of this stie with any actual use was in fact the forums.

If you want to send me a walkthrough, you can; or you could make a post and send me the link via PM, and I can make it a sticky.

Also, about the main page - I know some people were interested in remaking it. I talked to veins of ice about it, and his suggestion is that we just move (which he is going to be doing soon, I think) the forums' index to be the main index, making the whole site just the forums. Instead of going to ./phpBB2/index.php, it would just be http://www.socom-2.com/index.php

Hmm, that sounds good DaKilla :)

Silent, there is a sticky in "Tips and Tactics" forum called "Useful Tips and Tactics" there is also ANOTHER sticky about sniping tips and tactics on there, or you could make a whole new thread, but in tips and tactics.

Sorry if you have Linux, my computer went all weird when I clicked the Linux link...

Anyway, download that and everything then open it and click on any server, and hit Connect.

Then after all this weird stuff has scrolled down it says end of MOTD command. Good, now type /server irc.gamepit.org

When all THEIR stuff scrolls down, type /join #socom-2 just like that, thats how we have our chat, but for now you need xChat.
