Sigs not working? :(

Hello I am gonna try to explain I recently purchased a domain
I elected to install php-nuke for the forums. I have tried just about everything to get my sig to work but it will not. I checked to see if the bbcode is on it was. I don't even get the stupid square with an x in it. I just get the string I entered.

I have tried [img] [/img] with an absolute address and a direct address



[img]Nuke/images/irishsig.gif[/img]

[img]images/irishsig.gif[/img]?

I also tried all three in html using <img src=> and </img></img>

Nothing seems to be working and it's really pissing me off!

Can anyone help me?

The images that aren't working were not hosted properly, try hosting them at imageshack.us, it should work.

Did you try hosting the images off another site?

it's a great site a lot of banned with and you can host as many pics as you want.


Does the php nuke you are using have it's own uploader. Because i know my old clans did and all images had to upload from there for them to work.

goto either www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com

those are two image hosting sites that will help. they give you the exact IMG link that you need to make them show up

Yeah but why would I want to go to an off site to host a graphic. When Thats what I'm paying for at the web site I have?

www.imageshack.us is free, always works, and keeps your files in an organized file. Why you would pay for a site that screws up your hosting is beyond me, but I suggest you immediately stop payment of that site (unless you use it for other sources) and host your images on imageshack. Even if you're not going to close the site, host your images at imageshack.us.

Did you try [ img ] http://parentsplayingsocom.com/Nuke/...s/irishsig.gif [ /img ] ?

I see that the one working image you have is using that link, so try that on your forums.

EDIT: I didn't read that your tried with the absolute address, sorry....

It has got to be something with PHP-NUKE Cause it still dont work I hosted the image with the place you said. The link itself works just won't work in the forums.?

Does PHPNuke have some sort of special code for images?
