Wireless setup?

Is there a wireless setup for the PS2? The way my house is and where my room is located and where the office is located (where the cable modem is), I have to have a 50ft ethernet cord running down the stairs and across the hallway to get to the office. Is there any way to get this to be wireless for the PS2 after the purchase of a Linksys (sp?) wireless router?

OK, does anyone else have any suggestions for a wireless setup with some links?

Look at the wireless products. They are more expensive, but they save the headache of running cable. If you look through the site and still dont see what you need. Type the info you want into a search engine.

ok so, the router hooks up to your computer and the bridge hooks up to your ps2. Pretty much you just pop the install disks in a run the install wizards and your good.

Yeah, those are the exact ones that I found that I thought was what I need, but I wasn't sure. Also, how does the bridge connect to the PS2, by ethernet cord? And does the router allow you to go on the internet on the computer and be playing games online on the PS2 wirelessly?

yes , it just uses a ethernet cord. You can use your ps2 and computer at the same time however you have a better chance of getting disconnected depending on what your doing (i.e. kazaa/limewire). You can also just take the bridge and disconnet it from your ps2 and use it for a different computer.

yea i use Linksys too. It works great for me, except like when my mom or someone gets on the computer and uses the internet. Then i usually get booted. But see i have a laptop with Linksys (as well as my dad)so we have like 3 diff. things running on wireless but it works fine. One thing....do NOT use the wirless bridges made by...what was it....i think its made by Madcat or something...i cant remember...but dont get that one cuz it sucks (its just 2 black boxes)

Linksys is where the quality is.

I have heard way to many horror stories about other brands.
