you are completley missing the fact that Halo comes out on a completley different console from SOCOM and GTA. this site revolves around SOCOM. guess what! SOCOM is a PS2 game which mean that the majority of these people have a PS2 and a PS2 only. SOCOM 2 will never die. there are too many people playing and it is too addictive because of its close similarity to realism.

you really may want to think a little more before you make such a big statment. it may be the end of SOCOM for you, but for many, SOCOM will still stand atop all other competitors.

Exactly, Halo is awesome but Socom I and II is better than the first one. Halo 2 better make an impression because it has to compete with Socom II and that's not an easy task. Plenty of weapons, grenades, mines, great gameplay, incredible maps and various types of game types and etc. I like Socom because it's a lot of strategy rather than just a "shoot um up" game.
