With very old threads, comes very old posts. WeeeeWoooo and I agreed that a newer, updated version of this thread should take its place, and with updates comes a FAQ area for this thread, which WeeWoo thought of the idea for one. It will still have the basics of the old thread, if anyone has a question, feel free to post. Remember, there is no suck thing as stupid questions, just stupid people.

Question. What are all these file types and whats the best?
Answer. The main file types are .psd, .jpg, or .gif. .psds are the ones that you can open up in photoshop and all the layers will be show. Thus you can edit them. However they usually are very big in file size. .jpgs are the highest quality images. They are great for non animated sigs. .gifs are lower in quality than jpegs but can do animation and transparency. For the normal sig maker .jpgs are best
