Are any of you Socomers going to switch to Killzone

haha im switching to gta san andreas too once it comes out on monday. its gonna be off the hook, and the game killzone doesnt look that good. i was looking at some screenies of it and i didnt really like it, i will most likely rent it tho just to test it out.

I may rent it to try it out. But once MGS3 and Halo2 come out, I'm gunna be all tied up for a while. Not even sure if I'll get Socom time in, but I will try. BTW anyone else playin MGS3?

i got the demo and i have played it, and i must say...

i am HIGHLEY impressed!!! its an awesome game only to get better... i just hope the online gameplay is worth it.

who the hell looks at screens to judge a game...LOL!...Look at the movies guy...I garuantee Socom will be dead in a while...Its just to many great game Titles coming out that ppl will be playing. Like Halo 2, Killzone, GTA SA, etc.

Watched a couple movies...IMO it just looks too much like MOH. The flash from gun takes up like half the screen and it looks to me like all you do is mainly run and gun (yes I know in BF you run and gun, but I play it simply because its Star Wars, this is just run and gun it seems, no tactics involved if I doubt I'll want any other war game after socom), but w/e....I wasn't really impressed. Ill stick with socom and BF.

Maybe killzone is probably gonna be a run and gun. Halo is also an run and gun, and look how well it did. I think killzone is no halo killer but it may be the halo of the ps2.

Have u guys seen the luger vids on the killzone site. One thing that i think its stupid:look at the part when he tries to sneek up sum one and kill them with a knife, the footsteps can be heard reallly clearly, thats kinda stupid to me, the enmey stood there like they are day dreaming.

its a game though, its an obvious flaw so you cant get too upset about it. you never know, maybe the guy is deaf :P

I play Socom daily...but it pisses me off daily too. There's a lot of hype about Killzone, about it being Sony's answer to Halo. I doubt that it will live up to all the hype. I think that there will be a lot of awesome things about it but seriously doubt it will replace Socom as Sony's major attention getter. IM pretty anxious to play it though to see for myself. I like the idea of keeping the terrain extremely realistic, unlike Halo, and even more realistic than Socom maps.

The Characters seem to have been poorly designed as well. They look like garbage men with vaccum hoses coming out of their faces.

I do plan on getting it but doubt it will be anything SPECTACULAR.
