I NEED HELP WITH MY GAME!!!

WHEN I GO ONLINE SINCE THE LATEST PATCH I HAVE NO SOUND EFFECTS ON MY GAME. I CAN HEAR THE MUSIC AND THE GUYS SAYING THERE THROWING BOMBS BUT NO GUN FIRE OR FOOT STEPS OR BOMBS EXPLODING???? SOME ONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

First off I would ease up on the CAPS, people tend to get a little jumpy when someone posts in caps. As for your question, that is very unusual. The first thing I would do is go into options and check the sound settings. Sometimes games have separate meters for Music, Voice, and FX. I never paid attention if Socom is like this as well but it is worth taking a look to see if the FX slider is all the way down. If that does not work, I would try to backup my Socom Saved file and try getting online with a blank memory card, download the patches, and see if that works. If neither of these works then I have no idea.

Turn up your volume, then go to the options menu (on the main menu when you start up the game) and make sure the volume's aren't all to the left side.
