When do people need cover ?

I came out of retirement the other day to play with some friends I havent talked to in a while and like the sky pilot above me stated i was thankful for idiots who cant play this game. I was a seal with the RA-14 hiding behind a wall looking towards the terrorist spawn. I see 6 guys and am like...fine, i can take them all. Just by fighting by b@lls off and ducking back behind the wall to reload i was able to take out all 6...2 of which were snipers. I dont think i have lost my touch but then again it could have been my luck to have had the local talent make an appearance.

yes i mean cover to get all the attention to me . So my teamate can go savely to the otherside .

i have a good example of how cover fire works. i was playing xroads and this is actually how i meat one of my better friends on socom. he doesnt play anymore but we still talk. anyways, there was someone in the bell tower and we were out of nades. i start climbing up and he sees me. well, my teammate below didnt even see him, but he spray up there like crazy. he gets his attention away from me and i am able to climb up for a kill.

this is an idea. someone is camping in the bomb room on sujo, have one guy go down to the end of the hallway leading into the demolition spot. one guy by the turret end of the hallway. the guy at the end shoots through the door to scare the m3, while the other guy then pops in while he is not expecting it. diversions/cover fire can save your life and end the enemies

doing what u just said fork is what my clan excels at, supress fire to pin the enemy in place or nades to smoke the enemy out of cover.
