I think you guys need to see some of my stuff since i last made a post here. hahah, i have learned soo much on PS since i last posted, like 3 months ago or something.

I like your work, I really like the borders and the whole thing in general. The effects are different than the ones that i usually see on the forum, i like the design.
the only one that i partially like is the one you are actualy using as your sig right now.
the top one, the BG on it is way to easy and really is nothing to make because you can just mess around with the render and blending options to get that. and the bottem one (the blue one) the text in it doesnt really catch too well.
you don't seem to know as much as you think. That top one which you were so critical of has more brushing than anything else. The BG on that one, which you can barely make out unless you know that it is different, is all about filtering. The same for the second banner (which has about 2 filter layers and 8 brush layers). and i don't use blending options for ANYTHING except text and my borders.
unfortunetly, I am not able to upload my revised "faye valentine" sig. It has some animation in it, and looks a lot better.

I agree with mob on this one, nothing seems to stand out. Don't take this personal, you posted asking for comments, and I'm giving them. The first one seems you just used some filters, with a small amout of brushing. The second one is pretty cool, but you need to lighten up on the scanlines. My favorite is your current, but you could make a better background, and you'd get a better rating.
