What kind of Ethernet cord do I need for Direct Connection?

I have Verizon DSL with a 2200 Modem and I already have a Cat5e Ethernet Cable (grey) and it isnt working...I passed the Connection test but when I wanna play it aint working...Do I need a router?

... you need a router. you cant direct connect with verizon. how many times do i have to tell you? lol. ROUTER! did i get it through your head yet? sorry to be such an @$$ but you keep IMing me asking what to do and ive told you 300 times. you need a router to play socom 2 online.

just get s router lie 7seals says their not expensive or hard to find. Heck u could could get a second hand one. i did and its working perfectly!

You don't, or didn't, need a router. I remember playing a long time ago without a router to engage in some tests.

DaKilla. i have the same internet as him. you cant connection straight from the modem. if you dont belive me, fly over to the USA and ill show you in your face lol.
