New SOCOM Maps this month!!!!!!!!

Well, today I was viewing the message boards at the Sony website and a few members posted links to an IGN article. The article was an interview with the producer of Socom 2 from Zipper Int. In the article the guy from Zipper stated that theres a new map coming out around October 24th, and that to get the maps you need to get the December Issue (comes out in October) of the OPM and on the demo disc you run it and it will install the maps on to the HDD. He also mentioned that to get the maps you need to get the demo because zipper didn't have time to make a downloader for the maps built into the game. Lastley, he said the map that comes out in October is called "After Hours" - The subway map from the Korean Socom 2, and in November there will be a new map and also in December and each map I think you will need to get the demo from OPM to get the downloadable content.

Last Bastion looks awesome, and in the 3nd last pic, the terrorist crouched there....is that a SEAL running beside him? Why isnt he shooting?

i thought the first map (after hours) was supposed to come out in december and the next one is January and the next one in Febuary. Or am i wrong?

the map after hours comes out on Oct.24-28 depending when the store close 2 you receives the OPM mag.....and the next map come out the following month......and so on..............after hours looks ok...........but the last 2 maps that their releasing look sooooo sicc...........real winners they will be "i put money on it" wait i already did (HDD)

im lookin forward to after hours and lastbastion, im not too excited about the escort one. i just dont like that mode of play.

Same, after hours looks pimp....lastbation looks good too, but I'm not fan of escort either, especially with a dumb team...it just gives you 3 more dumb people to look after (as seals..)

hes not shooting at him because they are going for the "cinematic" look

After Hours looks Really good, but i doubt i'll be getting the HDD just for those maps, I would be paying 129.99 CAN for the HDD, and then an addtional 10 bucks for the magazine. I would buy the new levels if i had the HDD but, paying 129 bucks for a couple maps for socom as of now isn't in my price range. If alot other games support the HDD then i might consider getting the HDD.

OTHER than that, Maps look good!
