Please help! It won't let me in any room w/crossroads map

Hey! I play almost every night, and now all of a sudden any room with crossroads, it won't let me in. I've tried several times. I can still get into any other room, just not if crossroads is in it. Why is that and how can I get back into those rooms, because crossroads is my favorite map? Please help and respond. This has never happened before.

first check if theres an empty spot in the room. If there is and u try to go in but it says theres too many players, it just means its laggy and didnt register with ur ps2 in time. just go and find another xroads game, theres almost two in every room . Their not hard to find!

Is ur socom disc scratched? im just thinking maybe you cant do xroads specifically is because the part of teh disc its written on might be imposible to read for whatever reason;...

I hear it fairly often that people cant play certain maps.

I remember problems with Socom 1 that involved scratched discs or otherwise disfunctional equipment that only loaded half of a map. I recall several times, actually, loading into a map of Blizzard and having half of the map missing. I would walk into nothingness, while other people in the game would see me jet in and out of walls. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't purposefully glitching, quite the opposite.

I've never had a problem getting into a certain map, but I had had certain walls disappear, etc. Of course, this was Socom 1; I've never experienced anything similar in Socom 2. Assuming they share more that an insignificant amount of code, this might be a problem of the game, or your disc may be in for an exchange.

For a while, I couldn't load The Mixer 2 out of 3 times.. it would load only that 1 out of 3.. pain in the a$$ during a clan war I swear.. but now it seems to have went away. Wierd.

what exactly does the screen say when it wont let you into this corssroads games?

He said when he loads it, the game freezes. So obviously it's a disc problem. Theres no other explaination to the situation.

Go rent one at your local Blockbuster, then give them back yours, and keep the one from them, assuming its better.
