Rank system sucks

I know that the old system sucked, but the new one I think is even worst, from my experience so far. The rank goes by rounds won it seems, more then kills. I played tonight, no one from my clan was on so I hooked up with a few people on my friends list. We went to a room, started playing. Now the people on the other team I am not complaining about, they where cool guys, we switched it up every round, but we won 3 games, and lost 7-9. The thing that pissed me off was the 3 rounds we won, I got MVP, the ones we lost I either had the top, or the second most kills. I took two MVP's even when we lost. I was really doing well even though we was losing. I don't know how many times our totals would be me with 9 to 18 kills, and the rest of my team have 3 to 6 kills. So I think wow I kicked butt tonight, I go look at my rank and I have dropped 4000 spots......WTF...... I know team work is best, and we tried, but we was playing against a clan that always played together, and we where a mixed group. We tried to do teamwork, but there was always 2 or 3 guys that had a better idea and wouldn't follow our plan, Anyways I think going by games won is kinda BS..... Alright I am done, Sorry for making you guys read my hate post, I'll get off my soap box now!!!!!!

it is screwed up, and if it went by mostly rounds won then explain why there are 4 so far that ive counted under 9000 that have anywhere from 50 to 100+ rounds lost over won??? see thats ******** there as well.to me it should be a combination of rounds won,kills, and time played. time played would make it more like military where you dont just become a captain in a day, you have to earn your rank if not by just time in service but tests too. im sure some of yall would complain about that but it would cut back on alot of the glitching i feel. so what if they glitched and had 10000 kills and 1000 more wins than losses, if they only had 47 hours played they wouldnt be a captain. now if that wouldnt piss a glitcher off i dont know what would. plus would make the game more long term. youd really have a reason to keep playin. im just tired of ppl complainin that after 8 hours of total playin time they are still an ensign or butter bar....who ****in cares.if your good it will show in a few games you play.

No, I have known that it sucks, just started paying close attention a week or so ago. My wife was actually the one that got me watching it, and seeing how messed up it really is. I use to never go and look at rank, didn't even really care.

LuFeng, as far as what you said about people having 50 plus rounds lost over wins, and still a captian. LMFAO heck if I know. As far as making it by time played. If they did that they would have to make it as of time in an actual game not just on the server. I see so many rooms called "Gone to work" Etc..... With a PW on it. Then even if they did make it for time played, and only time in a real room you would have the clans (Kids) getting on, locking a room, starting a game, setting the time all the way up, then going to do something else and get draws.

Really what can they do??? I was venting when I posted that first post.

I don't see what yall are complaining about.. The rank system is and has always been messed up.. get used to it.. but since the patch, its a LOT better. No rankup captains. And the formula for getting your rank has always been the same.. It's not any one thing.. Mainly it depends on GAMES won. Rounds count too but mainly games won. Secondly it depends on who you are playing against. If your a captain, and your playing against all buttersticks and cookies, and you are whooping ***, your going to get less rank than if you were playing all captains, and only doing OK. Vice versa, if your a cookie, your going to get more rank doing decent against captains, than you would get totally owning some butter sticks. And individually, if all your kills in the game are against guys of higher rank, you'll do better than if all your kills were against lower rank.

I'm ranked like 4500 now and I think that's about right. 1150 or so kills, about 975 deaths.. 24 suicides, 650 rounds won, 475 rounds lost. 550 or so headshots. 7% accuracy (I think accuracy is the only thing messed up, look my headshot to kills ratio) I certainly don't get MVP every time, but I'm usually in the top 3, MVP often enough, but as you can see by my stats, the team I'm on usually wins. Thats how you get rank.

Guys who are ranked better than me, like under 1000, we are talking the guys who are 2000 kills and 1000 deaths, above that, it get's to even higher ratios.

2000 and 1000 is possible, I mean I could get that ratio if I want, but I think it's more important to do what you think is FUN, and don't even worry about the rank. That's the advice I'm gonna give all you guys. Don't sweat rank, worry about having fun.. if you do well, and like to play, and play a lot, the rank takes care of itself. Also don't worry about your rank from game to game, play a solid few hours, then take a look at your rank. You gotta remember rank is an average score of your performance throughout ALL your games, not just your last two. And finally, even if you think you play a hell of a lot, remember, there are guys who play a lot more than you. Those are the guys that are ranked in the top 100 nowadays.. they play all day, every day, and their hella good.

Going with this, if you are on a team that has lost a few games in a row, and you feel it's mainly your teammates hurting your performance, find a new room. I always look for a room with some good teammates. How you do in comparison to your team affects your rank too. If your a cookie, and on a team with all captains, and you get MVP, expect your rank to go up a LOT. If your getting MVP but all the people your playing with suck, your rank's not gonna move.

And in response to the guy who said he got MVP like 3 or 4 times, but you were losing the game.. think about that.... It's more important to be a TEAM player, than get all the kills, only to see your team lose. That's why they make rank count by games won. They want you to be a teamplayer. Even if you go 1 and 5, but your team wins 6-0, your rank is going to get better. That's how there's captains with more deaths than kills, I guess these guys are teamplayers, who take those deaths for the team. If your MVP but your team is losing, whats the point?

Read my post again, I was trying to put together teamwork, a few guys on my team where as well, but we always had 2-3 guys who didn't want run in pairs, or whatever, they just did their own thing. Nothing I can do about that.
