chain reaction is better, and so is nightstalker and crossroads.

it also lags around too much...

Fish Hook is an awesome map but I prefer Crossroads and Sandstorm rather then Fish Hook.

This board has so much friggin' lag. Once I hear the first grenade go off, it becomes a game of teleporting characters. It gets so frustrating, but man, this board kicks so much a$$ regardless. It's especially fun when I'm a terrorist and my entire team decides to rush the SEALs and take them by surprise. For 3 games in a row, we were doing that last night. It's funny that throughout those matches, those idiots never caught on. went three matches in a row without losing a single teammate. As a SEAL, however, I find it a bit more challenging. It becomes a mine field sometimes and getting the hostages usually never becomes our primary initiative. Still, I'm tossed between this board and Crossroads.

I don't know about the "best", it's definitly top 3 along with Foxhunt and DG. It really doesn't matter it I'm a Seal or a Terr on this map, I like this map equally on both sides. As a Seal I just look at my crosshairs and can usually tell when some nades are coming by looking at the red arrows. Either way this is a fun map.

Nightstalker and crsossroads are good maps, but chain reaction is a joke. it would be cool if the seals didnt start up on that roof, but when you can actually get sniped without even moving from your starting spot in 5 seconds, its no good. Plus, people camping with claymores on the roof sucks too. Camping as a Seal is sad either way. When you play cahin reaction i have a feeling you are always seals and kick peoples a$$es in wars right? I don't think that constitutes a good map. Back on topic, I do enjoy fish hook, but like someone said, its alot better 10-12 people, and possibly no bombs. I think vigilance is one of the best (also kinda laggy, but good 4v4/5v5)

i think fish hook is very laggy and it is hard to get a full game in with out some on teleporting and stuff like that but it is a pretty good map for terrorists and for seals you have to have a strategy

i cant seem to get anything done as a SEAL on this map. as a SEAL, one out of every 15 or so games ill either do decent or good. other than that, i will completley suk!

as a terrorist... i always do good. weird aint it? doing good on a terrorist favored map?

the only problem with me and a SEAL on that map is getting hit by random grenades after the "initial" grenade rampage is over.

I do agree with mob in that this game heavily favors the Terrorists. I mean c'mon, they start off on eleveated ground. And if any of you know basic military strategy, that's the best place to spawn. It's an uphill battle for the SEALs (pun intended).

in real life... its better to have the uphill advantage but... in this game it isnt most of the time. see, in SOCOM you cant put your gun over the edge of the wall to shoot over top of it so a lot of your bullets go into whatever is blocking in front of you while the person on the ground has a great shot on your head. and a lot of the time, you have to lean most of your body over just to shoot down. when throwing nades on the other hand... now thats the advantage. its just the fact of not being able to shoot over walls is what gets ya.

I'd say this is in my top 3. I love it pistols only as seals. (no nades) i have a bunch of strategy that i brought to the clan for that map. Its easier as a seal if you know what to do.
