2X Ammo

I was just wondering how many of you carry this in one of your equipment slots. It always seems like, when I carry it . . . I never really need it, but when I don't, it's almost for sure that I will run out of bullets in a fire fight.

I grab it no matter what as a Seal....sniper, pistol, claymores, HEs, and 2x ammo.....just a habit....plus it helps if I'm outnumbered and pick up an IW....

As a terrorist....I TYPICALLY don't grab it....sniper, pistol, HEs, mines, M67s.....occasionally, if my team is THAT bad, I'll drop the M67s and throw the 2x ammo in there....looking for an IW once I'm severely outnumbered

i used to grab it as a sniper because it gives you that many more "full" mags for your pistol when you get into those firefights so you dont come up on a half used mag when you really need those extra 7 shots but i eventually just started just wasting those shots until i got back around to another set of "full" mags. with the DE, if i kill someone with the first shot, i just wasted the other 6 into their dying body i guess as somewhat of a victory dance just so i wont have to worry about eventualy coming back around to a used mag.

The only time I usually take it is when the room is packed and my guns seem to be shooting nothing but lag-infested rubber bullets. If that doesn't work, then its M60 time. I find the M60 spray and pray method works quite well when my perfectly aimed "clips to the head" don't seem to register as hits.

Its also a huge disadvantage to carry it as a seal when there are mines everywhere ESPECIALLY on Sujo when you are already forced to take C4.

Off topic - Wouldn't it be nice if, for example, you were carrying 6 frag grenades and while playing you didnt have to change the quick select after using 3 of them. They should still take up two slots in your armory but it should be 6/6 and NOT 3/3 and 3/3

thats a good idea there... i didnt even think of that. what i have done in that place was set a set of grenades to my quick2 and pull out my others. i would use them so that i can still have the ones switched to quick2... quick2

I take it every now and then if its needed but usally im packing 9 granades unless im forced to take c-4 if i notice im gettinig low on ammo ill put the pistol back on quick

If i'm sniping i don't take it...but if i have anything else, i do take it, always.

to be honest, i never equip 2x ammo, just because most of the time i never need it. when i'm a seal, it always ends up with me just chillin out with an m4a1 with a clip left, and even then, if i run out, i use the seal pistols cuz they rule.

as a terrorist, i tend to quip myself with them simply because i use the m14, and that basically requires a lot of clips. then again, i could always equip the m79.....

i always take it, if theres a lotta pple, but that grenade idea is tight, its sucks to have to scroll to it, wat i do is use one of them as my 2nd weapon, so if i need it fast, i just click the button n bla u no

i bring 2k no matter what, UNLESS i'm sniping..which i'm doing a good portion of the time. You never know how much ammo you are going to need. you never now how much ammo you will be able find and pick up. As a rule of thum, figure 1 mag per person you're going to kill (it's almost ever that much unless you have a high fire rate weapon like my beloved STG) and i am always planning on killing more than one dude. plus like i said, you never know how much ammor you are going to need......however i love has 9 nades when sniping though :D
