SOCOM3 is going to be comming to stores near you... in 10 years!

actualy really i dont know but with the time it takes until people are finished pushing back the release dates, its already been a long time...

Once battlefront comes out... if that game is a good as what it seems and what the reviews say... then im going to be with boba fat and putting most of my time into that...

PS2 of course though.

and with the whole 'X-Box has better graphics' idea... it also came out after the PS2 so that gave microsoft time to recall the X-Box system and see what qualities that the PS2 had and what they had to offer, and they basically attempted to make it a better system. if X-box would have came out the same time PS2 did... the only difference between the two would be games and the fact you have to pay for X-Box live... (gay) id rather put my $50 into something... better. ill play free PS2 online stuff and buy another game with that money...

It's outstanding. I still play it after a year and a half. Plus all the mods that go with it are good too. When it comes out on PS2, it should definatley surpass S2 in popularity.

That "maggot" line comes from the war movie Full Metal Jacket, and SOCOM 2 happens to be a war-based game... hence the reference.

Battlefronts kicks socom's ***- in single player. I have yet to play online, because the patch takes up more room than I have... I am down to my save files and online stuff for FIFA, SOCOM, Baldur's Gate, and a little bit of SWBF. Everything I am possibly going to get rid of- I have. I don't really have enough money for a memory card and the game (i've only rented it). If you want to give me your money that is fine, however. ;-)

Anyway... I think that Battlefront's single player is better than socom's- or any other game's- it because it does what no other game has done before (to my knowledge). It has whole armies (albeit relatively small armies, which come in the form of constant reinforcemenents). I'll let you know my two cents about online play when I get there. If you don't want my two cents, I will go away and cry.

p.s. SWBF's SP still doesn't beat socom online, only single player.

I read a lot about it a few months ago, looks like it'll be cool; the first Battlefield game to come to console gaming. I hope it's ok, since I do plan on getting it... Well, maybe, who knows.
