So I got this kick-*** voltron shirt the other week. And whenever i wear it i hear quotes like this:

"I loved Power Rangers!"

"Transformers, you nerd."

"Power Rangers, you nerd."

"I love Transformers!"




Voltron: Defender of the Universe came first, maybe transformers now that i think of it, how long was it a comic... anywho, without doubt voltron had the 'combine **** to make one huge mofo' idea first.

I loved Voltron back in the day, the cats, not that car business.

Sadly, the fact of the matter is that Power Rangers did indeed beat Voltron to the punch. There was a very short-lived Japanese Power Ranger show in 1975.
