Greatest Guitar Solo's Ever
I want to know what everyone thinks is the hardest guitar solo ever. You can name more than one, preferably a top 5. I'm still organizing my list.... what's everyone think?

1.Bark At The Moon- Ozzy Osbourne
2.One- Metallica
3.Freebird- Skynyrd
4.Civil War- Guns N' Roses
5.Eruption- Van Halen
Those are not really in any order, it is too hard for me to choose greatest solos, because you can judge a solo good or bad based on a lot of things.

He's talking about the "hardest" guitar solo. I'm sure that goes to some worthless screamo/grindcore/whatever they call it/piece of crap band that prides itself on how fast they can shred.
I would agree with Angus, however, that Metallica has some of the best and hardest guitar - Master of Puppets, Battery, One. I was never huge on freebird or eruption, but civil war is a good one.
More impressive than a band that can play guitar very fast is an artist like Clapton who can take a riff as simple as Sunshine of Your Love and turn it into one of the greatest songs in rock history. Paige and Kashmir too.

Dude, Welcome Home and the Final Cut are so easy. As long as you know your scale boxes, they're really simple to play. If you look at a tab, it's intricate, but when you actually play it, it clicks and you're like, "Woah, I know this pattern."

Like he said, he's talking about greatest solos, not hardest. Crossroads is also not a difficult solo.

Thanks Red=]
And to Captain, just because the solo isn't difficult doesn't mean it isn't nice on the ears. I like the Trooper and Welcome Home because of the "dueling" going on between guitars. Stuff like that makes it a great solo.

Ah good choice on "The Trooper" fazed. That is a very good song all together. Flows perfectly.
