I searched for something similar but didn't find it. This is different from the usual awards thing. Anyways, whats the best thread you've ever read on a forum? It doesn't have to be from here. Here's one that is pure gold from the IGN boards a day before NCAA 08 came out last year:

I don't know why.. But this post just made me envision a bunch of bored kids off for summer break.

That was awesome.

As for me, the thread no longer exists (seeing as how the forum no longer exists), but way back in the day in [ASQ] I set up a "Dumbass of the Week Award" thread and whoever got named dumbass of the week had to take so much **** from everyone in the clan. What made it even better was that I would post the reason they got the award and nobody lived it down until either that person left the clan for until everyone stopped playing and forgot about it.

This thread isn't a classic, its actually only a few days old, but it has so many fine elements in it... USA vs England - GameBattles Forums

You see the inevitable idiocy and ignorance, but these chaps have nearly distilled an art form from it... the usual stereotypes come up, you can see the celebration of the speedy death of the most intelligent American who pokes his head above the battlements, only to have it shot off by his own side, the moment the call for help goes out on European forums is clear, there ae demotivational posters and some pretty good humour, sometimes it even seems intentional. With a little bit of work we will remember the 4th of July as the day the war started rather than ended!
