I don't know about you guys, but this scares me more than hijacked airplanes and bombs on trains. This sort of attack, just using whatever is at hand to do damage, requires virtually no planning, and is probably spontaneous, so its extremely hard to stop. Most of us are at no risk of attack, but if this sort of thing becomes more prevelant we are all in trouble. When pissed off Muslims take to the street wielding meat cleavers we'll be in pretty deep **** very quickly.
It sounds to me like this was the completely spontaneous act of some guy who was a few cards short of a deck. I doubt that Hezbollah commanders were sitting around a table:
"Allright, our rocket attacks aren't as effective as we thought they would be. How do we hit them where it hurts?"
"I might have an idea."
"Yea? Let's hear it, Ahmed Al-Mahairiqriarqui"
"Ok, listen up. First we get a bulldozer..."
