I tried playing right handed for 3 months, couldn't do it, pick up a lefty and in 3 hours was better then 3 months

Why would you pay that much for an Epiphone?

The only thing special about that guitar is that it has 3 pickups. But you'd only end up using the bridge because middle and neck humbuckers sound terrible. I'm disappointed that you wouldn't save a few hundred more dollars and get a real Gibson.

The Black Beauty has 3 humbucker pickups on it. The one closest to the bottom guitar (the bridge) is the bridge pickup. The one closest to the neck is obviously the neck pickup. Same goes for the middle. From experience, I have learned that humbuckers in the neck and middle position don't sound good at all. So you only end up using one pickup. The only thing that makes that guitar unique turns out to be fail.

Purchased this one earlier this afternoon. I love it. Got a new Line 6 Spider amp and a distortion pedal. So far, Awesomeness has ensued.

Just practice a lot. Learn the basics, and keep working at it and you'll get it.

Search for song tutorials. There's a lot of very good, and very detailed tuts on there.

Kevin, go to hell...... I'm not made of money, I bought this guitar because I need to start saving for important things like college. I don't need top of the line product to be happy, because I know that I worked my *** off to get what I already have. I'm sorry I took it personally, but you plucked the wrong string with me...
