That sucks dude, but I have to question....if your neighbor stopped them just up the road from your house pretty soon after leaving...how could they have already dumped what they stole? Either way, I am glad they didn't harm you. People like that simply don't care if it escalates to first degree murder from theft. It doesn't enter their minds. If your house is insured just ask your parents to report it to their insurance company. Especially if your mother has expensive jewelry. I know my mother has insurance on individual pieces of jewelry...aside from home owners insurance which protects it as a whole.

The SS card would be the only thing I would worry about after that. I hope you get it all back. But I have a hard time believing those two were going after identity theft. You should be fine.

Real men fight, no need for guns. Guns are for pussies, unless of course, it's required by your job(cop, military, whatever) to carry one.

I think you guys got me wrong on what I am saying. I'm sure you can shoot a gun. I'm saying techniques and what to do in certain situations. There are alot of techniques to learn not just point and shoot. Real men do fight with hands, I'm talking about someone invading your home with a knife or any other kind of weapon. I'm done with this thread.

It seems you did tell him that he doesn't shoot a gun.... don't make assumptions based off comments.

Yea....does anyone understand what I am saying? It's all about TECHNIQUE. One last time. Anyone can shoot a gun. There are wrong ways and right ways to do things. Example. Anyone can race a car, but do you really know how to brake and make turns. Sure you can brake and turn, but did you use the right technique. "Don't make assumptions based off comments". Thats what everyone does. I don't know him so I have to base things on what he or anyone says. I really am done with this thread this time I swear.

I guess I see what you're saying. I don't think he would've slit his throat, or none of that...I doubt he had a gun anyway.

Two of them ran through the woods behind my house while the driver drove up the street to pick them up. Just so happens, as my neighbor was pulling up, two of them were running out of the woods . So they checked the woods all around my neighborhood and in the vicinity of my home but still came up short. Btw, There were four involved. They caught the fourth later that night when they identified the second vehicle parked in front of a trailer, but still haven't found my stuff.

I also made the newspaper, they did a story on it and pictures of the four guys are in it. They used my full name unfortunately. I'll find it online for you guys and quote it and screen shot the page.

The way I see it, if these guys were dumb enough to not have their masks on their face before I answered the door and were dumb enough to use each others names during the ordeal, then I highly doubt they're smart enough to steal someones identity.

When will people learn seriously?

Yet they can sell it to someone who is smart enough to do it. People buy that type of stuff all the time for the purpose of Identity theft. Just be careful. If you don't fine it, just make sure you keep a close eye on your credit cards and such.

Here's one I found on a NC news Station.

Quote:
Four men were arrested Tuesday for a home invasion in Hope Mills.

Cumberland County sheriff’s detectives allege the four forced their way into a home on Pan Drive Monday afternoon and held the homeowner at knifepoint.

The victim said he was pushed into the closet and held there while the suspects ransacked the home.

All four men are charged with five felonies -- robbery with a dangerous weapon, second degree kidnapping, breaking and entering, conspiracy and possession of stolen goods -- and are being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $550,000 bond.

I believe NC's laws on self-defense with a fire arm is much more relaxed then other states. I believe you have to state that you have a gun a and ask them to stop 3 times before you can send them to tomorrow morrow land. I've been looking over the NC Laws for the facts but it reads like radio instructions. I'll ask a Sheriff when they come the shop here soon.

Did you catch there ages. The youngest being 18 and the oldest being 20. What a way to destroy your life. I still don't understand why people resort to this type of thing for easy cash. It's just as easy to get a grant and goto college for free.

That should be 4 extra felonies right there
2 Felony Possessions + 2 Intent to Distributes ?
