Get an alarm system. When ever I see someone out side that I don't know I press the panic button witch sets the siren off but doesn't call the cops but while on panic mode if any door opens then the cops are called.
Ps. probably 100% of the time it's someone trying to sell stuff but it's always fun watching them run like they just got shot at.
