Radio Contests

If you know me then you know I'm not very lucky and never win anything. However, recently I've had a bit of a lucky streak in that I won a couple radio contests. I have never won a single one before and 2 in 3 weeks ain't bad if you ask me.

The first one I won was tickets to see Panic At The Disco and I also got a M&G with them. It was pretty chill. Today I won tickets to go see the Stone Temple Pilots.

So, have you ever won anything on the radio?

Back in '01 my mom won $2000 dollars and a trip for 2 to Maui..... She didn't take me : ( but we went back to Maui in '06. My mom ALWAYS wins crap on the radio. Cds, tickets, shirts, dinners.

I don't listen to the radio enough to hear about contests, and probably would never enter one anyway.

My parents won a weekend in Vegas while we lived in Florida. They couldn't find anyone to take care of the business though so couldn't go. They ended up going later in the year on their own pockets.

I remember there was a lawsuit here because one radio station had a contest to see who could sit on a block of dry ice for the longest. Some of the contestants ended up with injuries from it..... like you would.

ONly time I've ever won was right after my ex dumped me. Won tickets to Shinedown in Wichita, and it was one of the best concerts I've been to.

I won a Pepsi prize pack off of the radio when I was younger. My Mom was listening to some country station that was giving out a gree Pepsi part prize pack for the Summer grilling season. She called with her cell phone and she had me call with the home phone. I got through, and she took the phone from me, but I got my own Pepsi cube case in my room that Summer. I think I was like 8 years old.

The pack came with tons of Pepsi and Mountain Dew, and a bunch of bags of Lays chips.

I've never won anything on the radio, let alone anywhere else (with the exception to $10 from a Lotto scratch off). The problem is I don't listen to the radio as frequently as others so if they ask you a question and tell you to call in with the answer, I wouldn't know where to start. I've tried a couple of times for prizes when you just have to be the xxTH caller, but I never prevailed.
