Cincinnati was rated
25th most dangerous city in the country, so I'm used to this kind of stuff by now. On any given night I'll hear about two or three (or more) stabbings or shootings, usually downtown (roughly 10 minutes from where I live).
A few years ago someone was arrested for a felony, not sure what, on my street.
Had someone get into a car accident on my street and he fled because he had a warrant out for his arrest (drug related, so I imagine he had a gun).
Someone got shot a few blocks away from me.
Last winter (06-07 winter) had someone get shot about 5 minutes after I walked by the person that did the shooting.
Had a friend get shot 3 times while he was going out for dinner downtown.
Had a classmate raped and brutally murdered about 5 minutes from my house.
I could go on, but I don't feel like it. Besides, you probably get the picture now.
