In the wake of the now finished format war, early adopters of HD-DVD are getting a big "Aww, It's ok" from some retailers.
BestBuy is giving a $50 giftcard to anyone that bought an HD-DVD player from them, including the Xbox 360 add-on, prior to February 23rd, 2008. If you used your Reward Zone card when buying it, bought a performance plan with it or purchased it through their website, they'll automatically send you the card by May 1st. If you you paid in-store, and don't fit any of the above, you'll have to bring in your receipt.
