I have summer all year round...well basically. All those things are fun though. Always will be.

Ah, my last summer before high school. A couple of friends and I are visiting Australia for 2-weeks. I plan on taking my GF to Gatlingburg if I can raise the money after the Australia trip.
The best thing about summer are the week nights you can party, wake up and work then party some more. I'm all about having a good time whether its 25 degrees or 125 degrees. Lifes short, have fun.
Oh, and I'm going skydiving for my 18th birthday!!

Summer is good for exercise. I can barely maintain fitness during winter despite my best efforts. August last year was the fittest I have ever been. I discovered 420 runs (nothing to do with recreational drug use, sadly... its 20 miles in two hours, starting at 4am which means you hit halfway right when the little biological timekeeper goes apeshit at 5am... very hard running) and my forest park days (places with lots of people out running and stuff... you pick somone, run with them matching their pace and distance precisely, pick another and do it again, over and over for seven or eight hours... no matter what you do there is always a mountain runner who comes in right at the end... nearly kills you) and other little things... gets you in damned good shape.
And, of course... training exercises in France. Well paid frog bashing for a whole week and two weeks leave right after... I don't think many of the single lads will be returning to England when the exercise is over... you can say a lot against French manhood, but to say their women are anything less than sublime is abominable blaspheming bollocks. Viva France.

I really don't think seasonal changes, changes much in my life. Other then having to mow every week and getting to blessed hot. Living in the south It stays warm enough to wear shorts year around. Some times it snows but maybe once or twice a year only. The water warms up but I haven't been swimming in a long time. One thing I look forward too is the neighborhood forth of July party were I seem to wake up the next morning in my bushes trying to make my way home. I always seem to pick the most thorny bush as well. Fun times...

summer is just awesome cuz you don't have school, can hang out whenever you want, and the barbeques and camping stuff is always the best as well.
the sucky part is it gets to about 115 around here on bad days.
but the girls sure do take it off.

That is an evil picture. When I was a kid I was a little scuzball and spent all summer battering a bee's nest. I must have tortured and killed hundreds. Then one day this big assed be comes out and goes straight for my eye! I could see the bastard spread its legs around the rim of my eye before I closed it... why was a good move, it stung me on the lid rather than my eyeball itself. I spent the next week walking around with a swollen eye, a decent lesson, and my cousin got it on the lip which got really inflamed, it was literally dangling off his face after a day or two.
Summer time is good for ice cream too. I get funny looks when I buy ice cream in winter. Summer makes it normal to buy ice cream, and subsequently to have big pink stains all over your shirt.
