Space Station and Space Shuttle Atlantis
so did you guys see that tonight? it happened around 10:24 mtn time, it was pretty cool. they were moving south east from the north western sky, right above the moon.

amazing how two moving lights shooting across the sky can intrigue someone so much.

the Space Station was moving ahead being followed by Shuttle Atlantis, which is on its return trip back to Earth after a mission to repair heat resistant paneling i think.

me, being a NASCAR fan couldnt help but think they were getting an awesome draft going on between the two spacecrafts.

I would have loved to see something like that, only I didn't even know about it. Did you hear that this was going to occur on the news, because Mission Atlantis has been getting almost no coverage by me. I would have gladly stayed up to 12:30 a.m. to see this occur.

I can't believe I missed the landing! I was ready to watch it too.

It's amazing that we can send huge "objects" to space and how fast they orbit the earth. Just imagine the stories if it happened around Christmas, "SANTA SIGHTED!".

I saw Shuttle Discovery launch right from the beach (the time it got delayed a few times), another shuttle launch from my house, and another from the top of Universal's parking garage. It still amazes me how something like that can travel so fast!

yeah, i did, i was getting ready to go to sleep, then they said that if we wanted to see it, to look to the north west in 8 minutes from the time they announced, to the time the crafts would be visible to the unaided eye.
