I would pay a Large sum of $$$$$ to see someone going to Light up Old Glory over there and have a Gust of wind go in the opposite direction .

How the hell did they not put St. George's day on there? Even if it is English!

Peurto Ricans have their flag day.
Dominicans have their flag day.
Random countries that dont even really exist have theirs.

I AM HAVING MINE!

I am going to put England flags all over my car and take one to school, I will most likely be the only one, but they can suck my St. George!

(And Christmas is celebrated because of my birthday.)
I don't see the problem with burning the flag, personally. They must be getting the flags from somewhere...

My only point was that they are stimulating an economy (not sure where the flags come from), which is only a good thing. If they are willing to waste money buying tons of flags for the use of burning, I say more power to 'em. They're just increasing the world's cash flow and helping everyone around.

Now, if they were to take it more seriously and start burning Americans, I'd be upset (even if they payed a large price). For that matter, I don't really care if they're Americans or other "terrorists", anyone being tortured is not legitimate in my opinion.

I can't see why people even care about burning flags, they are just pieces of material on a stick if you think about it.

But like DK said, dont burn people.... Unless they are emo.

Because to some people, the flag at hand is a symbol of their heritage, their home, their way of life, and all of those who have served to defend and preserve all of that.

Canadians just use theirs as a tablecloth.

This is exactly the reason why pictures like that offend me, DK... that's why I want to throw a live grenade into that crowd.

Doesn't make a difference to me if it's a flag being burned, or a person being burned... it's offensive to me, and that's how I will feel until the day I die.

Sorry to hear it doesn't bother you... we must agree to disagree, I suppose.

I understand what you are saying, Creep.

I noticed when I came here that Americans were much more patriotic and took a lot of pride in their country. Power to ya'.

If someone lit up an England right in front of me, I would get pissed because I hate the smell of smoke and probably try to take it away from them because I could, but I wouldn't get all raged and kill them or whatever. I would most likely take it, stomp on it, then take it home as a souvinir because its a burnt England flag and I have never seen one before. (Seriously)

I to this day have never seen anyone burn an England flag, even on TV!
