Batman sighted in AZ; Three schools put on lockdown.
I typically don't like reposting stuff I've read elsewhere, but this was too funny to not share:

Quote:
Three schools in the north Phoenix suburb of Cave Creek were on lockdown for about 45 minutes Wednesday morning after a student at Desert Arroyo Middle School reported seeing a person dressed as Batman run across campus, jump a fence and disappear into the desert, Scottsdale police Sgt. Mark Clark said.

Thats some funny stuff. My guess is that the kid made it up. If he/she didn't then the person must have been a wacko.

Ours was on lockdown today, but that was because a gun threat was called in.

This story is funny as hell though.

Happened to ours 3 times last year, and we got 3 bomb threats.

Yesterday we had no water in school and my friends were messing with the taps (faucets?) in a science lab (Don't have that class), and today I got to my We Design class under the Science lab to find the room was flooded and 30 brand new computers were about an inch in water. They still hadn't pumped out the room by the end of school.

If I saw Batman in my school, I would chase him and sell him on eBay.

haha, that would be the best thing to do.

And, we have had a bomb thread before, they just don't put us on lockdown.

"Ohh yeah, a bomb threat. Let's trap these kids in here so when the bomb explodes they all die, says YOUR principal.

My school sends people home, since the buses are parked on the other side of the football field.

The only threat my school has had is fire threats from something exploding in the chemistry rooms.

The only other time we had a big threat was 2 years ago when a mountain lion (my school is next to the Santa Cruz Mountains) was found sitting in a tree in the backyard of a house next to the school. The cops eventually shot it and the showed the video on the news. It was kinda funny.

Last year, it was at the end of the day and the principal came on over the loud speaker, and she told told us that we had recieved bomb threats early in the day. But they wanted to resume school and not let us know about it because it would cause chaos and distract us from upholding our reputation as a top academic school.
Honestly the dumbest ****ing thing I've ever heard of. If there's a possibility of a bomb in the building I'm in sitting in. I don't want to be there. The district office got flooded with phone calls from parents. Whole thing was messed up.

If a guy dressed up as batman causes three schools to shut down, what the hell kind of school do I go to that won't call off school for a bomb threat.

I say the same thing about locking people in the school, we are sitting ducks.

But for bomb threats we go outside and sit on the bleachers. Wouldn't it just be easier for some al-la-la to plant a bomb under a seating area with 3000 kids instead of planting many around the school?

I think it was a few years ago in Kentucky; a bomb threat was called in to a school. When the kids came out to the field, some guys were laying under the seats and just opened up on the lot. Pretty sad really.

Where I live nothing good happens really, just a few bloods and crypts whatever they called. Everyone is just talk around here.

Sorry for taking this off-topic.
