Video Game Wars

So I was inspired by Radios idea with the "Rock Wars" to have my own little contest for the title of the best video game. The rules are simple, list your top 5 favorite games of any genre on any platform (console, pc, arcade, extc.). After the topic has been up for a while and we have enough posts I will divide the games into different battles based on genre and platform. We will have votes to narrow down the list untill we have come to one game which will be titled the best game ever. Please limit your list to five games, and when you post the game say what genre it is and what platform its on (if its on more then one just type mulitiple platform or whichever it was orginally realeased on). Lets keep this fun and flame free, heres my list.

1) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Adventure, N64)
2) Shadow of the Colossus (Adventure/Puzzle, PS2)
3) Metal Gear Solid (Action/Stealth, PSX)
4) Chrono Trigger (RPG, SNES)
5) Donkey Kong Country (Adventure, SNES)

Forgot to mention this in my first post, please post single games only. For example dont put:

1) Metal Gear Solid Series
2)..
3)...

Because that can just get confusing when I have to make the polls. You can post games from the same series but they all have to their own number, for example:

1) Metal Gear Solid
2) Metal Gear Solid 2
3) Metal Gear Solid 3

Yet in the rules, it doesnt say anything about nominating a game twice. It just says to post your 5 top favorite games.........you cant do that if they are all already nominated.
