Your favorite types of dogs, and what kind(s) you have.

I currently have a mixed breed of a German Shepherd and a Norwegian Elkhound. Or so we think. He is 7 years old. We know he is part German Shepherd, but the other half of him is sort of up for grabs. He shows characteristics from a few breeds, but we believe Norwegian Elkhound stands out the most.

    Anyway, his name is Charlie.

My favorite Breeds of dogs are German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, and Labrador Retrievers. However my most favorite of any breed has always been the Hovawart.

Please post your dogs and favorite breeds.

That's the Basenji that I used to have. She died a few years ago, but she was a lot of fun. Basenjis are quiet dogs since they don't bark.

Thats a beautiful dog, Radio. I don't know if I would like a dog who absolutely never barked. I like social, yet protective and strong dogs. Needless to say, a German Shepherd and Hovawart exemplify that description. Golden Retrievers are extremely social. I love them for that, but they aren't very protective. Just cute.

I forgot to post a picture of my dog, so here he is. Charlie.

My favorite breed would have to be a Beagle. I had a beagle for 12 years, until he died of cancer. He was great for hunting, and he was quite the security dog as well. He was a lot of fun, and would do absolutely anything. Whenever I get another dog, it will definitly be a Beagle. If I have some pictures on my computer of him, I'll post them up.

My favorite dogs are Dalmatians, German Shepherds and Huskies. I used to have a Dalmatian but he died like 2 years ago. Dalmatians are very intelligent and fun to have but they are also extremely hyper.

I have a chesky terrier. I forget what kind of a mix he is but his name is Wallace and he is pretty rare. Someday he will be used as a stud because he isnt allowed to be neutered. He's really cool.

By the way after through hacking I believe that Dakillas name is Martin and he is 36. Seriously.

I think you have to give a big mean guard dog like a Doberman or Rottweilers cute harmless names. With little dogs suck as Chihuahua's, I think they need a baddass tough name like Killer.

I believe you mean the Dachshund. They are good dogs, they just have bad back problems.

Mutt... black lab, and a bit of golden retriever we think.

I like labs mostly, but my absolute favorite dog would be the Chesapeake Bay retriever
