WTF is Emo and Screamo
What are they? I see and hear a lot of people refferring to them, and I just want to know wtf they mean.

Emo is a lifestyle for certain people who are overly emotional about things and basically hate life because they think everything in the world works against them. These people normally have dark emotions and contimplate suicide constantly.
From what you are reffering to is the music. Emo music is basically the same thing. The lyrics consist of overly emotional outcomes to situations and also contimplate death or harm to themselves.
Screamo is the same as emo, but constant screaming over the mic.

Screamo, is basicly a type of music genre reffering to emo, just with screaming.

Emo,, is like a lifestyle, such as mob said(Though he said somewhat of the stereotypical version..), and is a music genre, short for "Emotional"

I never heard the word Emo until Weezer got really big. Would they be the ones that started it all ????
I would think that Trivium is Screamo, If that's the case the CD is now being used as a coaster for my beers.
Sorry , I know alot of people like Trivium.........
