Wii Fit
You guys know its coming. Whether you like it or not...Wii Fit!

IGN: Wii Fit

Honestly, I am a little impressed and dissapointed at the same time. It has some pretty cool functions using the wii board (measures weight, % pressure on each side, BMI), but it lacks in being a tool to become fit. I'm sure you'll hear morning shows reviewing the product saying it actually challenged them and they were actually sweating... or news stories about how a man lost 200 lbs. using wii fit. Realistically, most people won't lose any weight from this or if they do they'll gain it right back. As for the exercises I think I would get the same tingling sensations from trying to tie my shoes or walking briskly to catch the elevator.

Its a nice novelty, but if people do buy it I think its gonna be another dust collector.

Sad to think that this is one of the most widely talked about games for Wii.

I don't think this piece of software is necessarily about losing weight. You may be able to lose a couple of pounds (or more if you're REALLY into everything it has to offer), but think about the name. Wii FIT -- getting and staying in shape and having some fun along the way.

This piece of software will not make you a completely different person, in physical appearance. I do believe, however, that if you utilize its features, your body will become that much healthier, all in the privacy of your own home.

I'm actually looking forward to it; it looks fun and interesting.

hmmmm.....well i have recently just bought wii fit, i dont know what i was expecting it to be like with all the hype its had and im no nintendo fanboy,i just like to play great and different games whatever the format its on however this is a little strange to give an opinion on,for me it isnt that much of a game at all, although that doesnt make it bad or anything as its quite fun to play in short bursts. Trying to beat your last score on ski jumping and hula hoops is cool but the balance games and yoga are for me boring. If it wasnt for the fact the other games will use the board id probably trade it in or sell it on ebay, the board itself is a good peice of kit and im sure the ssx and tony hawks teams are working hard to use the board which i think would be a cool idea for their next games.,as is the new rabbids 3 game, which im sure will be good fun as the other 2 are. anyways let me know what you guys think

Woah, I had no idea it was already released elsewhere. Where are you residing or where was it available?

You mentioned SSX and Tony Hawk series coming out with something that utilized the board, and I think thats a great idea. In fact, I think the board would be much more useful for those types of games.

Does the board provide feedback like rumbling?

Just saw this on IGN. The new Raving Rabbits will use the wiifit board in gameplay. The other one for wii was pretty good too.

I'm still shocked to see that this game is sold out at every store that I go looking for it... people are selling copies of the game on eBay for nearly double what it costs here in the U.S.

Un-freaking-believable!

I was finally able to locate a Wii Fit today! I threw down my paint brush and ran out to buy one, still with paint on my hands!

I basically stepped on the system long enough for it to weigh me and take my balance test, but the system has so many perks! There will be strength, aerobic, balance, and yoga training included in the package! YOGA IS HARD!
