TV tuner/capture card question
Hi,

I want to record me playing Super Smash Bros. Melee(playing it on my Wii) on my TV to my PC. Everything is directly connected on my TV.

What do I need?

OS: Windows XP
PCI bus
TV: Samsung LN-T3253H
PC port(on my TV): PC In (female D sub)

Any suggestions?

That should help, even though it's really for PS2. But just about anyone should be able to figure it out. If you still have trouble I can post pics of my setup since I have a PCI capture card too.

Is you card SDTV only? because I'm looking for a very high quality one that would works with my Wii.

No, but I don't see why it would be a problem unless plug-ins are different.

SDTV cards are cheaper thats why

There's not much HDTV capture cards yet so it's really expensive. I recommend the SDTV one to record the Wii.

I'm thinking about getting the Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S-Plus

Do you think it is going to work?
