I think the sales figures for their console would prove otherwise... and if I have said it once around here, I've said it a thousand times... if you're playing games for the way they look, you're playing them for the wrong reasons.

And I do believe that the Wii has the lowest attach ratio. Only games that are selling a decent amount are first party titles, that actually HAVE GOOD graphics. They also use the wiimote intuitively. For many other games, instead of pushing a button, you wiggle the remote, making things a lot more tedious (Zelda sort of did that, but it used it for other things too, and it's Zelda, so I will forgive it).
There is obviously a problem when you have games like this, being released on the Wii.
Cruis'n

if the wii keeps gettin bad graphical looking stuff like that its gonna fail and we wont see the gc effect. i think ps2/gc/xbox cycle > ps3/wii/360 cycle ... last gen had more excitement

I certainly hope you weren't typing this with a straight face...
C'mon now, this gen has more excitement already.
Stores can't keep Nintendo's new console on shelves...
The 360, system failures aside, has been more successful than the original Xbox was in the last gen...
Sony is bringing up the rear, but ready to strike like a cobra...
Doesn't get that much more exciting, in my opinion.

Yet the PS2 sold at a faster rate and could always be found after the initial 6-12 months of release. Nintendo is trying to drag this out as long as they can because of it, because of that, it won't get close to PS2 total sold. Also, when the sales start to slow down, I think it will be a drastic drop, not slightly declining, unless Nintendo can constantly pump out new first party Zelda, metroid, mario, and etc games.

Not yet, in terms of total sold. But 360 is definitely selling a lot more a lot quicker. 2 1/2 years- 18 million, Xbox- 5 years, 24 million.

Agreed
I agree with you that this is more exciting. Wii surpassed the 360 in what seems like 2 months :P, PS3 having a massive lineup of exclusives this year. 360 RRODing everywhere. All sales are pretty darn close to eachother so far (all within about 9 million).
And now there isn't one console that just DESTROYS the other. Some would consider the Wii doing that, but we don't know how long it will last.
