Nintendo Wii Controller questions.. Please Help.

Hi, i was wondering since the Nintendo Wii is backwards compatible, you need a GameCube Controller to play game cube games correct? Does the Gamecube controller need a special connection to connect to the Wii? Another question is for Wii controllers i know you need some double A batteries if im correct.. So what do you dudes use? Rechargeable Batteries i assume, if so, do you mind telling me what rechargeable battery package you got (charger and battery)

Gamecube controlls plug right into the system.

You can probably find a good set of rechargeable batteries at walmart. But yeah, the gamecube controller seriously just plugs into the top of the system...you know, under the white flap...there's even a spot for a gamecube memory card

The GC controllers plug right on the top of the Wii, the removable white flap, open it and there are 4 GC plug-ins, and also there are slots for memory cards just as Awsomeslash said. And any set of rechargables at a local electronics store, they are expensive though, i got a pack and they didn't come very cheap.
