Coming next spring, you won't need any fancy next-gen graphics to kick some serious azz, in your favorite galaxy, far, far away.

LucasArts' new Star Wars title, The Force Unleashed, puts players in the role of Darth Vader's secret apprentice during the thirty-odd years between Episode's III and IV.

Wii players will have the exclusive luxury of using the Wii-mote to control their lightsaber, while using the Nunchuk to wield the power of the Force.

Also exclusive to the Wii version will be a duel mode that will allow players to take their friends on in a digital limb severing orgy.

Being developed by Krome Studios, coming in Spring of 2008.

This fact alone makes this game worth playing once it's released... next gen graphics don't mean all the world to me, anyway.

You know what would be sweet? Nintendo should come out with a special addition lightsaber Wii-mote just for this game, and maybe something that you could wrap around your other hand in place of the nun-chuck. The device could sense when you would move your hand out to activate the "force" within the game, so you wouldn't actually have to hold something in your other hand, such as the nun-chuck. I would be the first person in line to buy it then for sure!
