Resident Evil 4 (Wii)
GameTrailers.com - Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition (Nintendo Wii) - Media, News, Reviews, Previews
Graphics still look really good. I don't know if it is PS2 good, or GC good. (Gamecube version had better graphics if you didn't know)
But the game is being sold at 30 dollars. They would be crazy to sell another version of RE4 for 50! But I am going to gamefly this game once I am done with The Darkness whenever I get it from them. When I saw videos, you head wouldn't fly off if you got chainsawed, and etc. It wasn't as gory, but thank god that is only the Japanese version. The US version has the same old bloody fun!

If and when I get a Wii, I will probably just play my GameCube copy of RE4 on it... unless of course, it is REALLY innovative with the new & improved Wii control scheme.

I heard from many reviewers that the controls for this version make it the best one. So, they must work pretty well. And well, with the drought of games this summer, I have plenty of time to gamefly this xD
I might also get Dragon Quest 8, I havn't played that game yet >_<

Now that I have had a chance to play the RE4: Wii Edition, I have to agree with the reviewers... the controls on the Wii's version of the game make it the best version out there.
It's weird to think that I used to consider this game groundbreakingly beautiful when it was first released on the GC years ago... it still looks good, but I have been spoiled on Xbox 360 and PS3 games lately.

RE4: Wii edition definitely is a great game and has awesome graphics and even the controller system by Wii remote and nunchuk. I envy those who already have Nintendo Wii, I still can't play with it at the time.

I have the Gamecube version, but I'm not really sure if I want to spend 30 more bucks just to get the Wii version. It looks awesome and all, but I've done everything possible in the Gamecube version. Is there any difference in the versions besides the control schemes? I know the PS2 version had some extra unlockables, does the Wii version have those?

Trade in the GC version of the game... the Wii version is worth every penny... that's what I did, anyway. And yeah... the Wii version of RE4 is a combination of both the GC and PS2 versions.
