Yeah, well he's probably a crack junkie anyway. Stop listening to him.

Just keep looking. I got mine at EB Games just after they got a shipment. They only got 2 Wiis in, and I now own one of them. Keep your eyes open and you will get one.

Over the past few days, I have been hunting down stores for a Nintendo Wii... either by telephone or driving to a store. Still no luck finding one...

Yah, keep looking. Stores don't get a LOT, because Nintendo supplies quite a few Wiis worldwide but holds most back to continue the high demand, and have really good steady sales for longer.

And I am sure that the $600 price tag has nothing to do with its slow sales? I'm sure it would be doing better (sales wise) if it was less "feature heavy" and cost consumers $200-300 less than its current asking price.
Things could change for Sony in a big way once they do decide to start a price drop...

The wii sold out every product on the market.
The wii is outselling PS3 6-1 in Japan, and xbox 360 like, 12-1 in Japan.
Also toilet paper 345-1

me and my brother went to gamestop about a month ago not knowing that Wii's were still sold out everything thinking about buying one, but we were arguing about which one of us goes up to ask how much it would cost with tax and everything because it was a little tight and then this guy comes storming in and is like " YOU STILL GOT THE WII? " and hes like yep last one. and that just broke my heart

If anyone is still having problems finding a Wii try checking out the Warehouse stores like Costco or Sam's Club ( Owned by Walmart ). Everytime I go in my local Sam's Club they have massive stacks of Wii's
