Wario Ware: Smooth Moves

I was one who was deceived by all of the "9.5/10" ratings. Almost every video game site reviewed the newest installment of Wario Ware with a 9/10 or better. Seeing this, I thought it would be a great game to pick up for my Wii. I picked this game up and paid the full $49.99 price tag. I can see how people were slightly entertained by this game, but it couldn't keep my attention for more than two hours. The game gets extremely repetitive and confusing and has a very limited multiplayer. Seeing as how the Wii has support for up to four controllers, I would have figured they would have utilized this to the fullest extent in order to make a good game. I was wrong. The multiplayer games feature several modes where you pass the controller around. There is also other modes where you plug in the Nunchuck, with one person holding the Wiimote and one holding the Nunchuck. The mutiplayer was limited and very disappointing.

I beat the single player in about two hours. What I noticed were that all of the microgames were either extremely limited, completely pointless, hard to understand what to actually do, or a combination of those things. There are also cutscenes before and after each "level" (a progression of about 10-20 microgames.) These cutscenes are very boring and make little sense. You also can't skip them, and they take up large amounts of time.

If you are looking to buy a new game for the Wii, I would highly suggest staying away from this. Do not let the high ratings fool you, this game is disappointing.

Ya that happened to my friend too. He bought it, then we played it for awhile and beat it without even realizing it. It was fun while we first played it, but after that it gets boring. It's hard to understand what to do in some of the games and some of them are just hard to do completely. The two-player is a bit stupid and pointless, but the game is fun at first. It's more of a game you should rent when you have like five friends over.

I played this game as my Cousins house. I liked it for the time I played it, but then again I didn't play it for very long.

I played it with two other people in a tiny cramped room with one Wiimote. Try getting the Wiimote from somebody when it's your turn like that.

It was freakin fun.
