Camping for the wii

With the amount of wiis that are comming out, it shouldnt be as hard to get one compared to the ps3, and the 360 when that launched, you just gotta put aside, mabie a half a day , or just spend a night at a store, depending on where you go.

Who will be camping out for one, and where at?

I will be going to the walmart here in town, 9 am saturday morning. I will get a ticket that guarantees me a wii then I will just spend my time playing the games they have set up, especially guitar hero 2. I will probably be one of the first few up there. All Walmart stores are getting atleast 20 wiis, so if you are within 20, you are good. But some may be getting even more, on average around 40-50. They will give out tickets in accordance to how many wiis they have in stock. So if you dont get a ticket, there is still plenty of time to go to a best buy when that opens. Considering some best buys are getting up to 150 wiis!

the dude at the gamecrazy i went to said we shouldnt have any problem getting a wii if we just go and get one.. they said most of the campers are for ps3...

There are dozens of people camped out at Circuit City near my house and they have had tents set up all week. I got a good look at these people today and it made me sick. Not to sound offensive here, but not many of them looked like they work or even speak english yet they are waiting all week (while normal people are WORKING) to spend $600 (which most NORMAL working people can't afford) on an already confirmed buggy PS3.

What the **** is wrong with this country?!?!?!?

I would type more but unfortunetly I have to go back to WORK so most of my money can go towards the purchase of a PS3 for those camping scumwads.

I know a crap load of people are lining up for the ps3............when it is down right pointless, with the amount we are getting.

Honestly, If there are 100+ people in line at some store, why the **** do they get the idea that oh, THEY MIGHT get one.

~8,000 people per state, if all 50 states received them, and it was USA exclusively, with no inter-state traveling to get one. (goto Nevada to get one...nobody lives there)

The Wii, after looking at recent screen-shots, really....un-impressed me.
After seeing some racing game on it, and Madden 07, I nearly threw up.
The graphics were just horrible. They looked more PS1-ish graphics.
I mean, they're all about the gameplay, but I can't stand a game that looks like a pixelated mess.

I saw that magazine article as well. The racing cars looked horrible, and Madden was decent graphic wise, but was said to have better gameplay than PS3. Still... the graphics did look really pathetic, even if they weren't focusing on it, it was still bad.

Yeah, I heard they were shipping ~1 million or something and by the end of the year, 3 million more will ship, so you shouldn't have a problem buying a Wii.

(only reason I'd get a Wii is for Zelda and SSB...)

There will be 4+ million by christmas.

And graphics do look a lot better on the game itself, and in motion. A Lot of STILL pictures I see on games occasionally are very pixelated and look bad. But dont always judge it on that. Yes the graphics dont compare to the 360 and ps3, but in time, the wii will be quite good graphics. Game developers just want to get a hang of the controllers. That is the main thing they are worrying about.

Also, I bought red steel earlier today. Walmart wouldnt sell me zelda though. Games published directly by nintendo cant be sold by the 19th. They had about 35 copies of it too.
